Investment Cafe is an independent financial and investment planning firm. The company is founded by A. S. Shankarnarayan. Shankar is an IT professional with 24 years of industry experience and extensive travel to customer locations in US, UK, Gulf and Far East. Shankar has more than 14 years of investment planning, management and advisory experience. He is a Masters in Financial Management (MFM) from NMIMS, Mumbai University, and is part of the elite group of Certified Financial Planner^CM (CFP^CM) professionals. CFP^CM Certification is a mark of excellence granted to individuals who meet the stringent standards of education, examination, experience and ethics. It is the most prestigious and internationally accepted Financial Planning qualification recognized and respected by the global financial community.

CFP^CM practitioners have taken the extra step to demonstrate their professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP^CM certification process. CFP^CM professionals keep abreast of developments in the Financial Planning field, including but not limited to strategies, products and trends affecting their clients, via the mandatory Continuing Education requirement.
